Lisa Morton is an American horror author and screenwriter. Morton has worked with several small theater companies in the Southern California area, serving as writer, director and producer. She has also authored four non-fiction books, Savage Detours: The Life and Work of Ann Savage, The Cinema of Tsui Hark, The Halloween Encyclopedia and A Hallowe'en Anthology: Literary and Historical Writings Over the Centuries, which was nominated for the Black Quill Award and won the Bram Stoker Award for Best Non-Fiction.
A California native, she currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
